Irish Festival Committee
In March 2023, FSSP hosted its eighth St. Patrick’s Day Parade down the main streets of the Town of Clinton. The two-hour parade itself is the primary feature of a multi-day festival, and it represents the group’s second biggest fundraiser of the year. For the parade to go off seamlessly, it involves collaboration with the Town of Clinton, the Guild, the Chamber of Commerce, the DPW and other groups. Members of the Irish Festival Committee are involved with, among other things:
Bringing together the marching units, bands and community groups that will be marching in the parade
Organizing the parade after-party (which includes the building at Clinton’s Red Mill of the tented “Irish Village”, accommodating 800 people with heated shelter, food/drinks, lighting and music. Assisting with a number of events
occurring around the parade, like the Parade Launch event (at Flemington’s Chamber of Commerce), Pub Night and other festivities
Golf Outing Committee
FSSP’s annual golf outing originated in 2008, prior to the FSSP Hunterdon County’s inception, as it was originally organized to assist a specific family in need. For some time now, the golf outing represents the organization’s biggest
fundraising event. Committee members are responsible for the retrieval of sponsorships of various sizes, the oversight of the event throughout the day, and the organization of tricky trays, raffles and other fundraising activities.
The outing has been held every year at Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale.
Social Media/Website Committee

Social Event Committee
Committee members are involved with the publicizing of upcoming social events, including the organization’s annual banquet and the “17th of the month” Club (a social gathering of brothers somewhere in the county), just to name a
few.
